Harvest Fellowship is a non-denominational church with a vision to reach Frazee and its
surrounding communities for Christ. We believe that God has called us to be a lampstand
in our area for the cause of Jesus Christ that He may be glorified, bringing the sinner to
repentance and discipling believers unto full mature stature.

The TrueBridge Stream of Churches is our overseeing body. It encompasses about twenty
churches in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Truebridge has a vision to support and equip
churches through encouragement, ministries and teaching, and most of all, by forming
strong relationships. Their goal is to continually strengthen the relationships not only
between churches but also between churches and their communities bridging the gaps
with the love of Jesus Christ.
About Harvest Fellowship
1. We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God.

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His
miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily
resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in
power and glory.

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is
essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is
enabled to live a godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to all
believers today.

6. We believe in the resurrection of the saved unto eternal life and eternal damnation unto
those that are lost.

7. We believe it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church.
Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of communion.
We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they
serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.

8. We believe in the present day five-fold ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor,
and Teacher as set forth in Ephesians 4:11.

9. We believe in the privilege and responsibility of bringing tithes and offerings to the Lord.
Harvest Fellowship Church was formed in Detroit Lakes in 1995 under the care of Pastor
Stanley Birky. Pastor Birky shepherded the church until 1999 when the role of pastor was
assumed by Joe Clauson. Harvest Fellowship moved to Frazee in 2000 where meetings
were held in the high school until suitable leased space could be found. Our current
address is: 806 Frazee Rd, Frazee, MN 56544  Tel (218) 334-3101
Sunday Morning Worship Services are a time for celebration, praise, and worship to give
God glory and to give Him an avenue to change us and surround us with His presence.
Other purposes for this time are for fellowship and hospitality, a place to develop
relationships among us. Preaching and teaching from God’s word allows the Spirit of God
to bring growth and transformation. The practice of communion, the remembrance of
Christ’s work on the cross, is celebrated monthly. Tithes and offerings are received as the
firstfruits of what God has given to us, acknowledging that all things come from Him and
belong to Him.

We believe that Sunday school is an intrinsically important part of church life, that we are
to raise our children in God’s prescribed way. The teaching received serves as a
foundation for our children giving them inspiration for living godly lives.

Our theme for Sunday Evening Prayer Service is “Touching Heaven and changing earth”.
This meeting is for worship and intercession, praying for the nation’s leaders, government
officials, the city of Frazee and surrounding area, our state, country, and for church vision.
Time is also set aside for personal prayer ministry where needs can be expressed and
covered in prayer.

Our Home Groups typically meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for the encouragement of
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and for the meeting of personal needs. Teaching
and evangelism also happens at this time.

The Wednesday Night Youth Meetings incorporate praise and worship along with
effective teaching from the Bible. We encourage students to participate in witnessing in
their school. We also develop leaders among the youth of this generation to live for God
and change their world.

The Harvest Half-Hour is our local radio ministry proclaiming and declaring grace for
salvation and power for transformation of lives. It airs on the local radio station K. R. C. Q.
At 9:05 A.M. on Sunday mornings. We believe this is a part of fulfilling the Great
Commission as found in Matthew 28.

Evangelism and Outreach is incorporated into our church structure through the use of the
“Heaven Booth Outreach” and the “Alpha” course. We believe that personal training in
evangelism is important and can be revealed through these courses. Our desire is to see
the world come to Christ.
Our local church is governed by Elders and Deacons with the Pastor being the Senior
Elder. Elders are to provide leadership, teaching, vision, discipline, correction, impartation
of the word, and commissioning. They also provide security and structure for the church.
The qualifications for eldership are found in 1 Timothy 1: 5-9 and in 1 Timothy 5: 17-21.
Deacons are responsible for financial accountability, outreach ministries, widows, orphans,
benevolent ministries and the physical maintenance of the building. The qualifications for
deacons are found in 1 Timothy 3: 8-12.

We want you to feel welcome, loved, and accepted at Harvest Fellowship Church. We
believe that God desires to encourage and strengthen all who would call on Him.
